Maria Evans was born and spent her formative years in Buenos Aires and like most people in Argentina (it’s the 7th largest wine market in the World) she has grown up enjoying the wines. In 1997 Maria came to the UK and with her degree in Tourism Management worked within the tourism industry for 2 specialist tour operators, a boutique hotel and then finally for Holiday Inn. In more recent years Maria worked for Mitchells & Butlers within their operations department and then afterwards as a Personal Assistant to the Managing Director of a consultancy firm.
As Operations Director Maria has responsibility for Accounts, Stock Management and Administration.
Lee Evans was born in Oxford and has over 20 years experience within the drinks industry, starting in the 1980’s when his parents opened a Snooker and Health Club. After completing a degree at Brunel University Lee joined Holiday Inn as a Graduate and during 4 years rose from Assistant Food and Beverage Manager to Operations Manager. In 2003 he joined Carlsberg UK, firstly as a Sales Manager in London and afterwards spending nearly 6 years within Customer Marketing where he had numerous roles working with some of the UK’s major drinks businesses. Also during this time Lee spent 2 years in charge of the marketing for non-beer, including Carlsberg’s portfolio of 450 wines.
As Managing Director, Lee has responsibility for Sales and Marketing. |
